Right before diving into a drawing/painting, I like to warm up by doing a 15-30 min sketch to loosen up. Here are two recent ones that really put a smile to my face. Why? They look so silly and I’m starting to wonder just how many ways Chairman Badfunk or the “mini-funks” can be interpreted.

I don’t collaborate on art as much as I’d like, so when those chances come, I really enjoy it. With that in mind, I wasn’t originally set to work on the piece pictured below but somehow it happened. I’m glad I did as I was able to add something to this pretty cool image.
