Hey Kiddos!
So SDCC 2010 is right around the corner, we got an effing booth (not table, BOOTH) and we’re cranking away on our 3rd (yes, we actually made 2 before) Art Book. Something we wanted to do different this time around is get some outside influence inside the book… so we’re gonna throw a contest.
So here’s your chance to add your flavor to the visually diverse SatelliteSoda Universe. Basically, all of the SatelliteSoda Art Books have been individual artistic interpretations of the characters created by the SS crew for the SS universe. They include:

Basically, do whatever tickles your fancy. Single character pin-ups, group shots, 3D renders, comic-strips, sidewalk-chalk extravaganzas, wall paintings, whatever. There are no laws or rules for style… do your own take on these guys, make them yours, but please realize that vagina monsters, anal camels, and cum-guzzling bad funks are NOT OK. We’re pretty lenient, but please just use some common sense with this stuff. We hate the term “censored” but We don’t want “IN YOUR FACE!” for the sake of it. Be classy people. We’re very open here but there is a line and its WAY out there, don’t be stupid haha. All that we ask is that the work remains tasteful. No full-on nudity, no extreme profanity, etc. If you have any specific questions about this you can contact me at any time, or post your questions here, and Ill answer them as soon as possible.
Size and Format
If you’ve seen Book 2 or Book 1 (or look at the reference gallery) you’ll notice that the art is dimensionally all over the place. We encourage that. The book will be 8.5″x8.5″ but whatever you do we’ll make work for it. Just make sure it’s at least to size @300 dpi, hell, I’d prefer most art to be at least 15″x15″ @600 dpi just in case haha. So make it good, make it big, make it any shape you want.
Deadline is April 18th @ 11:59 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time)

No late entries will be accepted. Polls will start the following day and will go for 3 days, and it will only be voted on by committee. Last few contests we threw a bunch of lame-asses re-registered a few times and jacked the polls, so we’re keeping it to the people who are currently working on the book only.
Disclaimer
This book is a zero-profit all exposure guerrilla style group business card we’re doing here. Everything you do, you’re basically giving us to do what we please with it. For the book, for the site, for prints, for stickers, for anything. We’re not out to rip you off and try and make millions off of your hard work, we’re out to show you off with everyone else, to show the group off, to kick the art world in the fucking nuts. If you have any problem with this do not participate to any degree in this contest. This has totally rubbed some people the wrong way in the past, and I put it out there now for everyone to be totally clear.
Prize
“What the hell are we doing this for then?” You’re probably asking. Well, we’re pretty serious about how we get this book out to people, and not only will your piece go in the book and get whored out with my work and a dozen others, with your full freaking name and contact info in every location possible so it’s 100% clear what you did for this book, but you’ll also get 3 copies of Book 3 if you win, a copy of Book 2, an 11″x17″ print of your piece, plus 3 other prints of your choosing for your hard work. That’s a decent chunk of cool art, along with the opportunity to be along side some great freaking art to begin with.
That’s for the top voted piece, any other piece we deem worthy we’ll contact you if we’re interested in putting it in the book, and give yah 2 copies of Book 3 when it comes out. Deal?
