Fresh New Start

It’s been a long time since there’s been any type of activity in this neck of the woods. And after being in the doldrums for a very long time, it’s time to get some winds going in the sails. Now is the time for progress.

A New Purpose

As a way to keep things fresh, I’ve had to rethink what Alpha84 was about. And while the last couple of years have led to nothing but cobwebs and dust to collect here, I shouldn’t let that dictate what the future will be. As a result I’ve made sure there is an actual purpose for me paying for this whole thing.

This will serve as a repository of sketches, photos and thoughts that come to my distracted mind. My only hope is that keeping this combination of things together might help me be more productive on the creative side. And while that doesn’t mean that I haven’t been creative at all, it should be known that I haven’t been as productive as I probably should be.

Luckily being almost done with a project involving SatelliteSoda, my creativity has piqued as of late. So much so that I actually worked on Alpha84 again. And I have to admit that my biggest reason for starting this blog is Dylan McCrae who I must say I admire. He’s a proud father of two, fellow SatelliteSoda member and creative genius who’s always found the time to be awesome, no excuses whatsoever. That’s inspiring for sure.

Alpha is the Beginning

For me this will mark a beginning of a new phase of creativity I hope, as I try to keep this place updated and fresh full of content. So what should you expect? Just about anything actually as I’ve proven in the past to be rather varied. From full blown drawings, sketches, photography and possibly more. As I’ve always been keen on writing and storytelling, expect some of that as well.

The way I see it now, there isn’t a better time to work on Alpha84 and crank up the creativity and productivity. So keep an eye out on all that’s to come, I would hope you continue to come my neck of the woods and enjoy what I have to offer.
